Self-retracting lifelines – also referred to as retractable fall arresters, fall arrest lifelines, fall protection yoyos, fall arrest blocks, and self-retracting lanyards —are a critical component of personal fall arrest systems and have been expertly designed to detect when a worker is about to fall and tightens the cable to a halt. They work like a seatbelt, when you pull on the line lightly it pays out and retracts smoothly, but when you abruptly yank the line, the system stops and thus arrests the fall to stop the wearer from encountering a potentially life-threatening injury.

The X250 is a free-standing, 2-user mobile fall protection system used on flat roofs, and over trenches. The anchors are designed to provide fall protection over an edge while having an option for confined space rescue and retrieval. |
The X500 is the most versatile, easy to assemble singe davit arm fall protection anchor available. The anchor height is 25’ from the ground level, and the mast rotates 360 degrees with no more than the push of a hand. The multi-position boom lock allows a user to place the anchor point directly above them, minimizing free fall distance, and eliminating the additional hazards of falling while anchored below a user’s D-ring. |
The Malta Dynamics X500A delivers the same trusted performance as the original X500, with the added versatility of an adjustable-height telescoping mast. The Malta Dynamics temporary horizontal lifeline is made from a high-strength poly-rope that spans between two anchor points to create an anchorage system that allows multiple workers to tie-off safely. The temporary horizontal lifeline bag comes as a complete system that includes a tensioning device, energy absorber, rope, steel O-Rings, self-locking carabiners, and cross arm straps.

Malta Dynamics Tripod is designed to provide an anchor point to support one worker up to 310 lbs. The aluminum alloy tripod can be used with optional winches to provide safe access and emergency rescue in confined spaces including sewers, wells, tanks, underground pipe and tunnels. |
Our standard winch is designed for personnel riding, material handling, rescue and evacuation. It includes a 115-foot galvanized steel rope and a maximum working load of 300 lbs. Personal fall arrest systems should be used in conjunction with the winch. |
The Confined Space Rescue/Retrieval Kit provides both fall protection and bi-directional winching capabilities. This enables the rescue a worker in need, allowing you to raise or lower them to a safe level. This winch kit can be attached to our standard tripod for confined space use. |

Malta Dynamics begins charging rental fees the day the product reaches the shipping location. On the day that the fall protection equipment is returned to Malta Dynamics, rental charges stop.
We offer different pricing for each product we rent, depending on the value of the product. Our pricing system varies based on your rental period. We charge by days, weeks, or months depending on how long you use the fall protection equipment. The longer you rent, the lower the daily rate will be.
